Sneha founded the studio in November 2019 with one Juki industrial machine, two karigars, and a small room above her father's chemist shop in Sector 22. Seven years on, the atelier runs five machines, four karigars (all women — locked policy), and works mostly by referral. No walk-ins on weekends — every fitting is by appointment so the bride, mother, or working professional gets the room to themselves.

We do not take rush bridal orders. The kalidar, the koniya, the dupatta-fall — these need time. If your wedding is in 4 weeks or less, we will refer you to Karol Bagh or Lajpat. If it is 6 weeks +, you are in the right place.

A muslin "test garment" sewn to your measurements — you try it on, we mark adjustments, refine the cut. This is the difference between a lehenga that fits and a lehenga that simply hangs.

Our workshop is small on purpose. Five women — Sneha, Manju di, Geeta di, Reshma, Pooja — five JUKI machines, one cutting table, one zardozi frame. We turn out 28-32 garments a month. That is half what a same-size Karol Bagh shop turns out — and that gap is exactly the quality difference.
Every karigar in the workshop is a woman. We pay 22% above the Karol Bagh / Old Delhi industry rate, give 12 paid leaves a year, and run a Saturday-afternoon literacy class for our team. Two of our four karigars came from cities where they had never held a salaried job.
We do not pay-per-piece. Every karigar is on monthly salary + Diwali bonus + ESI. The piecework model is what crashes quality at every Karol Bagh / Chandni Chowk shop — they push 18 pieces a day and corners get cut. We push 6.
Most "bridal lehenga" stores buy machine-embroidered choli yokes from Chandigarh wholesale. We do not. Every dabka, sequin, pearl is hand-stitched in our workshop. You can sit and watch — we encourage it.

Sneha personally handles cut + first-fit + final-fit on every garment that leaves the studio. The karigars handle stitching + embroidery + finishing. No piece reaches you that Sneha has not held in her hand at least three times — once at cut, once at toile, once at final fit.
We use YKK zips, Coats Phoolwala thread, brass hooks, hand-cut bias tape — not the ₹3 wholesale supply that breaks in a year. Your kurta should outlast the trend that started it.

Sherwani, jodhpuri, and men's formal wear is a different patternmaking tradition — chest, shoulder, and lapel construction is its own craft. We were trained in women's wear and we will not pretend otherwise. For sherwani, we refer to Mehboob bhai in Karol Bagh (Sneha apprenticed under him 2015-16) — DM us and we will share his number.

Yes, absolutely. Bring fabric you have inherited, fabric from a wedding-shopping trip to Chandni Chowk, fabric your grandmother left you — we will work with it. Stitching-only charges apply (₹600-₹1,800 for kurta, ₹1,200-₹2,400 for blouse, ₹6,000-₹14,000 for lehenga, depending on embellishment).
Yes — alterations on outside garments start at ₹400 (hem) and go up to ₹2,800 (full re-cut + re-line of a saree-blouse). We will tell you honestly if a garment is not worth the alteration cost — sometimes it is cheaper to commission a new piece.
Honestly — no, and we will tell you no. A bridal lehenga done right takes 6 weeks (1 cut, 4 weeks embellishment, 2 fittings). We have seen what happens to "rush bridal" — corners get cut, the fit suffers, the embroidery is bought-in instead of hand-stitched. For 4-week timelines we refer to Karol Bagh boutiques that specialize in fast-turn. For 6+ weeks, you are in the right place.
Every garment we stitch comes with a 30-day fit-guarantee. If the cut feels wrong (too tight, too loose, the dart sits oddly, the hem rides up) — bring it back, we re-stitch at no charge. After 30 days, regular alteration rates apply. Bridal pieces additionally come with a 7-day pre-wedding "emergency adjustment" window — bring it in any morning, walk out by evening.
For finished garments — yes, via Bluedart Premium with insurance. ₹350-₹600 depending on city. We have shipped to Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Jaipur, and 6 NRI customers (US, UK, Canada, Australia). For first-time customers we recommend at least one in-person fitting before final pickup, or use the photo-measurement protocol on the app.
Yes — and we encourage it for bridal clients. Sit in the workshop with chai, watch the karigars work, ask questions. The zardozi karigar (Reshma di) does Saturday demos for anyone who wants to learn the basics. Bring tea biscuits — she is partial to Parle-G.
